John Bohn (1920-2014)
began to build the foundations of his legacy in 1949, when he founded the first business entity in a series of companies that would later make up The Bradmore Group (TBG). Over the years, John continued to form numerous partnerships and corporations, all of which focused on purchasing real estate investments in Southern California.
Originally from Centralia, Illinois, John resided in Santa Monica continuously since 1936. After graduating from Santa Monica High School, he attended the University of California, Los Angeles. John’s dedication to the City of Santa Monica was evident throughout his career: he served as a Santa Monica City Councilman, a President of the Rotary Club of Santa Monica, a President of the Santa Monica Chamber of Commerce, and also as an active member of the Santa Monica Planning Commission. Overall, John was an esteemed community leader and philanthropist.
John and his wife June were the proud parents of four sons and six grandchildren. Of his sons, David and Mark continue to grow TBG as executives of the company.
David Bohn

David joined TBG in 1991 and was appointed President in 2014. As President, he oversees the strategic management and growth of TBG. David directs the financial oversight of TBG’s diverse portfolio of legal entities: corporations, limited liability companies, partnerships, complex trusts, and one tenant in common (TIC). With the support of his executive team, David generates, develops, and implements TBG’s overall business strategy, vision, and culture.
David received an MBA and an MRED from USC, and a BS in Economics from UCLA.
Mark Bohn
Vice President, Property Management
Mark oversees the management of TBG’s real estate portfolio encompassing creative office, retail, and industrial space. Mark joined TBG in 1990 and successfully directs TBG’s property management team. Among other responsibilities, Mark oversees marketing, lease and contract negotiations, tenant improvement construction, lease compliance, tenant relations, and vendor management.
Mark has over 25 years of property management experience and holds a California Real Estate License
Portland Watson
President and CEO
Portland oversees all aspects of operations at TBG. A member of the executive management team since 2001, Portland guides and manages TBG’s three operating segments: Global Management, Asset Management and Property Management. As a leader committed to TBG’s continual growth and development, Portland plays an integral role in driving business strategies, maximizing financial results, and increasing asset performance.
Portland received a BS in Accounting from CSU Fresno.
Brian Bohn
Vice President / General Counsel
Brian serves as in-house counsel at TBG, providing advice and guidance on a variety of legal matters. Prior to joining TBG in 2018, Brian served as outside counsel, and represented TBG in various lease negotiations, tenant disputes, and business transactions. Brian serves as a member of the strategic development team within TBG, which focuses on maximizing portfolio value by repositioning assets within the market to achieve highest and best use.
Brian received a JD/MBA from Pepperdine University. He also received a BS in Accountancy and a BS in Business Administration from the University of San Diego.
